the sprinter

a series of unmistakable unrealistic achievements

or at least, the pursuit of unmistakable unrealistic achievements.

that’s what this is all about in any case:
life is way to short to not want to go after the most absolutely insane goals.

people call me crazy, but in fact, i think they’re the crazy ones; finding comfort in mediocrity and the risk-free life.

alright, welcome everybody, this is week 31 of the unicorn founder, it’s good to see you.

today’s menu:
→ spanish fluency
→ the 7-day sprint technique
→ the podcast

SPANISH FLUENCY

what did we achieve

the first seven days: insane foundation of pronunciation, grammar, rhythm, and the sound of the language

the second seven days: application of the above in real-life conversations

this week i have been making some content on instagram in spanish
+ this weekend, i’ll be doing a spanish-speaking “interview” with my native spanish-speaking girlfriend

that’s going to be the proof in the pudding to showcase how much i can understand from a spanish-speaking person.

the process of the interview: i listen to her speak and explain in english what i am understanding from the conversation

the process of the second interview: we’ll have a conversation in spanish, where she asks me questions in and i respond, all in spanish.

gonna be funnnn.

why i am doing this:
1. for her
2. in order to prove the principle of unrealistic things not needing to take a long time

and that’s where i started getting into this mental framework of the 7-day sprints.

THE 7-DAY SPRINT TECHNIQUE

to be completely honest, this started subconsciously when i started learning how to code at the end of october.

but i was made aware of the framework as i started posting about my intentions of going all-in on learning spanish in 7 days.

how many other unrealistic things could i pursue achieving within the 7-day timeline???

some ideas:

  • build a mobile app (a really sick one duhhhh)

  • learn python (been meaning to get to this)

  • build a web-app (that solves a nice problem)

  • build an ai-powered chrome extension

  • build a trading algorithm (that actually makes money)

  • build an undervalued altcoin identifier algorithm (it’s altcoin season baby)

  • … and we’re just getting started

it’s really great content for social media hahaha

BUT, more importantly, it’s exactly what i like to do: move fast, waste zero time, and just put sick stuff out there into the world.

i encourage you to look into it.

THE PODCAST

i mentioned this a little bit a while ago, finally i am here.

yes, i know, it should not have taken this long.

i have no excuses worth mentioning.

what i’m doing: interviewing founders and CEOs of businesses that generate over 1 million dollars per year, with a few special exemptions of exemplary individuals in their own respective fields.

what it’s about: sharing the stories of our brothers and sisters who are in the arena with us. I’m looking at the stumbles, the dust, the sweat, the blood, the erring, the coming short, as well as the worthy causes, the daring greatly, and the triumphs of high achievement.

this is raw. this is real. this is relatable

you can find it on spotify and apple podcasts.

over the next week i’ll be beginning my interviews, gonna be sickkkkk, hope you’re keen.

why i’m doing it: we all have stories, we do not just arrive in our current locations, and i find it incredibly encouraging to hear the stories of the people a few, a hundred, or even a hundred thousand steps in front of me — because that’s where i’m headed.

not only do i want to hear their stories, but i want other people who don’t have direct access to these people to hear their stories.

first episode is out — more of a motivational speech > an introduction haha, but enjoy it.
